L‘alimentazione, infatti, può aiutare a smettere di fumare e per combattere i radicali liberi e proteggere l’organismo.

Un alimento utile per limitare la voglia di fumare è il tofu, in quanto è ricco di  isoflavoni, dei potenti antiossidanti, di calcio e di proteine. Via libera anche ai sapori forti, come quelli delle olive e delle acciughe, che aiutano a diminuire la voglia di fumo; sì anche ai capperi in quanto contengono la quercetina, una sostanza in grado di influenzare in modo positivo la quantità d colesterolo e di trigliceridi nel sangue, prevenendo le malattie cardiovascolari.

Per prevenire l’invecchiamento delle cellule e combattere l’azione dannosa dei radicali liberi, servono alimenti ricchi di antiossidanti, come i cereali integrali, soprattutto il riso, e i legumi, meglio se combinati tra loro.

Una ricetta facile e veloce per unire i benefici della verdura con quelli del riso in modo da diminuire la voglia di fumare e, allo stesso tempo, proteggere l’organismo è l’insalata di riso condita con le verdure come peperoni, melanzane, erbe aromatiche e olio extravergine di oliva.
