Le gemme di faggio e di betulla sono particolarmente utili contro la ritenzione idrica e il gonfiore, poiché aiutano a depurare l’organismo. La betulla, infatti, ha proprietà drenanti e diuretiche, soprattutto la sua linfa, ricca di proteine, betulina, calcio, potassio e magnesio.

La linfa di betulla si può acquistare in erboristeria e si assume a stomaco vuoto al mattino nella misura di mezzo bicchiere. Se preferite, potete anche diluire la linfa in 1 litro e mezzo d’acqua da bere nell’arco della giornata. In questo modo, stimolerete la diuresi, favorendo il processo di eliminazione dei liquidi.

Per eliminare i cuscinetti adiposi, è molto utile associare alla linfa, anche un massaggio quotidiano con l’olio agli estratti di betulla, mescolato con l’olio essenziale di germe di grano e quello di albicocca. I movimenti devono essere dal basso verso l’alto.

Gli estratti freschi di betulla e di faggio si posso diluire in acqua e applicare anche in bagni e frizioni. Il decotto di gemme di betulla, ad esempio, diluito nell’acqua del bagno, favorisce l’eliminazione delle tossine. Con le foglie di faggio, invece, precedentemente racchiuse in un sacchettino di tela, potete frizionare il corpo, imprimendo maggiore pressione sulle zone più colpite dalla cellulite, come cosce e glutei.
