Pensare al futuro è divertente, ma anche molto complicato, soprattutto se si cerca di definire non tanto che cosa faremo, ma come vivremo. Nessuno trent’anni fa, per esempio, avrebbe immaginato come internet avrebbe potuto rivoluzionare il modo in cui lavoriamo. Con questa logica, oggi riflettiamo sulla dieta. Anche l’alimentazione è un treno in corsa verso il cambiamento.

 

Secondo Tim Vryenhoef, esperto di ingegneria della nutrizione, immagina carrelli della spesa intelligenti, con un assistente alla nutrizione virtuale applicato che attraverso i codici a barre sarà in grado di leggere le calorie, i grassi, gli zuccheri e soprattutto segnalare se si stanno commettendo degli errori. Molto spesso, i principali errori a tavoli si commettano proprio al momento degli acquisti, al supermercato.

Non è tutto, è previsto anche diet watch, un orologio che durante la giornata terrà il conteggio delle calorie già consumate, per limitare gli sgarri e soprattutto fare attenzione a mangiare in momenti precisi della giornata (la regolarità è fondamentale per la digestione e il consumo delle calorie ingerite).  E poi, visto che la tecnologia sarà sempre più importante, saranno progettati anche frigoriferi hi tech, che attraverso un sensore a radiofrequenza fare il calcolo delle calorie, ma anche proietterà l’immagine di come potremmo diventare con il nostro peso forma.

Che ne dite, vi piacerebbero questi aiuti? La verità è che l’unico strumento per ottenere dei risultati è la volontà. Essere motivi è una risorsa fondamentale, certo poi un aiutino – anche tecnologico – potrebbe fare comodo, non deve diventare una schiavitù. Educare al cibo è il migliore del diet watch e si inizia da bambini.
