Per Pasqua, a farla da padrone è naturalmente il cioccolato, e in particolare quello delle uova; senza fare torti alla tradizione, e anche al palato, non dimenticate di fare attenzione al cioccolato che scegliete. Quello che potrebbe sembrare un fattore secondario è in realtà molto importante: scegliere un cioccolato di qualità è essenziale per la nostra salute.
Molto spesso, infatti, nella scelta delle uova di Pasqua si tende a privilegiare la sorpresa che potrebbe contenere anziché gli ingredienti; proprio per questo, gli esperti dell’Unione Nazionale Consumatori hanno stilato una serie di consigli per aiutarci a scegliere il cioccolato giusto.
La prima raccomandazione è quella di leggere le indicazioni che sono riportate nell’etichetta e di far attenzione alla data di scadenza del prodotto e alla qualità del cioccolato; il Segretario generale dell’Unione Nazionale Consumatori Massimiliano Dona spiega infatti:
Con le festività pasquali alle porte, acquistiamo le uova di cioccolato prestando attenzione alla qualità! Spesso si tratta di prodotti “civetta” che vengono venduti a prezzi molto bassi per indurre il consumatore a comprare anche altro. Il consiglio è quello di approfittare delle occasioni, ma sempre leggendo con molta cura le indicazioni riportate in etichetta.
Privilegiate le uova che riportano la dicitura “cioccolato puro”, in quanto non contiene oli tropicali o altri grassi vegetali; se invece quest’ultimi sono presenti nel prodotto, ricordate che dovrà essere ben visibile la frase: “contiene altri grassi vegetali oltre al burro di cacao”.
Continuando a leggere l’etichetta, se leggete la dicitura cioccolato“finissimo” o “superiore” tenete conto che il contenuto di cacao deve essere di circa il 43 per cento; se, invece, vi è riportata la dicitura “cioccolato comune”, sappiate che la qualità è più scadente e la quantità di cacao contenuta è di circa il 25 per cento e che, in questo caso, l’uovo dovrà costare di meno.
Proprio in questo senso, l’etichetta delle uova di cioccolato potrà fornirvi utili indicazioni anche sul prezzo realmente adeguato, tenendo conto, appunto, del contenuto del cacao della cioccolata.
