Se pensando alla crusca d’avena vi viene in mente solo il mangime per gli animali vi sbagliate: dovreste pensare anche alla dieta Dukan, dato che proprio il sistema ideato da Pierre Dukan ha sdoganato il consumo di questo cereale, prima relegato, appunto, soprattutto all’alimentazione animale, nonostante la crusca, che è l’onvolucro che ricopre il chicco, sia ricca di fibre utili per il buon funzionamento dell’intestino.
Crusca d’avena, a cosa serve
La crusca d’avena contiene delle fibre solubili utili per il dimagrimento, dato che, secondo quanto spiegato dal dottor Dukan, assumendone un paio di cucchiai al giorno si riesce a tenere sotto controllo la fame nervosa. Il perché è semplice: le fibre solubili hanno un’alta capacità di assorbimento e quindi, una volta che la crusca d’avena arriva nello stomaco si riempe d’acqua, crea una patina di consistenza gelatinosa che ricopre le pareti dello stomaco, si gonfia e dona un senso di sazietà quasi immediato.
A ciò bisogna aggiungere il fatto che la patina formata dalla fibre nelle pareti dello stomaco, grazie alla suo consistenza gelatinosa, rallenta l’assorbimento dei grassi e degli zuccheri, riducendo l’apporto calorico assunto.
Crusca d’avena, le proprietà
Insomma, la crusca d’avena fa bene e non soltanto perché coadiuva i processi di dimagrimento: di seguito alcune delle sue importanti proprietà:
- previene e combatte la stipsi;
- riduce il colesterolo;
- previene le malattie cardiovascolari;
- abbassa il diabete perché riduce l’indice glicemico;.
- preveniente il cancro del colon e del retto;
- protegge il fegato.
Crusca d’avena nella dieta Dukan
Grazie alla dieta Dukan la crusca d’avena è ormai diventata ingrediente di diverse ricette; ad esempio può essere unita alle zuppe oppure alle insalate, cotta insieme ad altri cibi, consumata sotto forma di fiocchi d’avena da unire allo yogurt o ai formaggi freschi, oppure usarla come farina per preparare la pizza, il pane o altro.
Attenzione, però, a non abusare della crusca d’avena: un consumo eccessivo potrebbe provocare dei disturbi digestivi e limitare l’assorbimento di minerali e vitamine. Il dottor Dukan consiglia di assumere tre cucchiai di crusca d’avena al giorno.
