La dieta antigelo

Il gelo di questi giorni ha messo in ginocchio l’Italia e, secondo le previsioni, anche le festività natalizie saranno all’insegna del maltempo; ecco, quindi, che la Coldiretti ha presentato una dieta antigelo, ovvero un’alimentazione studiata per proteggere l’organismo dal freddo intenso. Spiega, infatti l’organizzazione agricola:

È necessario prendere le dovute precauzioni per rafforzare l’organismo in vista dei disturbi stagionali, ma non solo, va tenuto nella giusta considerazione l’effetto delle basse temperature sull’organismo degli animali isotermici, tra cui l’uomo: il dispendio calorico superiore richiesto per mantenere la temperatura corporea stabile alla temperatura media di 37 gradi.

Un’alimentazione mirata, equilibrata e ricca di antiossidanti e vitamine, è l’ideale per potenziare le difese immunitarie e per combattere i disturbi stagionali, oltre che per restare in forma e in salute. La dieta studiata dalla Coldiretti vede al primo posto il consumo di alimenti ricchi di vitamina C, una sostanza ricca di antiossidanti presente nella frutta di stagione come gli agrumi e i kiwi; segue la vitamina A, facilmente reperibile nella verdura di stagione, come la cicoria, gli spinaci, la zucca e i broccoletti, tutti alimenti che contengono anche molti sali minerali.

La dieta antigelo della Coldiretti prosegue con il suggerimento di assumere cibi ricchi di vitamina B, fondamentale per trasformare in cibo in energia, che si trova nei cereali integrali, nelle verdure a foglia verde, nei legumi, nella carne rossa e nel tuorlo d’uovo. Da non dimenticare anche la vitamina D, importante per il potenziamento del sistema immunitario e per migliorare l’umore, attraverso il consumo di latte, uova e pesce; infine, assumete vitamina E mangiando frutta secca e olio extra vergine d’oliva.

Tra i cibi da privilegiare per fare il pieno di antiossidanti ci sono l’uva e il melograno, mentre quelli con valenza antibatterica sono l’aglio e la cipolla, mentre se cercate energia, scegliete miele e cereali. Ottime anche le zuppe, utili per migliorare le funzioni intestinali grazie alle fibre; le migliori sono quelle preparate con i legumi o con i cereali.
