Con l’arrivo del freddo, una bella zuppa calda è quello che ci vuole per rimettere in sesto l’organismo. Innanzi tutto è una necessaria precisazione: si parla di “zuppa” in presenza di una preparazione brodosa arricchita dal pane; se il pane non c’è si parla di “minestra”, nella quale invece si dovrebbe trovare la verdura e la pasta o il riso.

Gli ingredienti ideali per minestre e zuppe sono le verdure, i cereali e i legumi, anche perché sono poco calorici e si adattano perfettamente ad essere serviti caldi. La minestra di verdura è perfetta per chi non ama mangiare la verdura in modo tradizionale, mentre quelle a base di cereali sono l’ideale per chi ha problemi di digestione: grazie alla loro grande quantità di amido sono facilmente digeribili.

La minestra di pasta e legumi è un piatto completo, perché garantisce le proteine dei cereali e quelle dei legumi. Una minestra particolare è quella a base di latte, nella quale al posto del brodo c’è proprio il latte. Essendo una minestra particolarmente nutriente è adatta ai bambini, agli adolescenti e a chi vuole ingrassare un po’; grazie alla sua consistenza, questo tipo di minestra è efficace per chi ha problemi all’apparato digerente.
