Naturalmente, anche gli agrumi, ricchi di vitamina C, sono i benvenuti.
E’ buona regola, inoltre, inserire nella nostra dieta gli alimenti che contengono il selenio, un minerale molto importante per la difesa dell’organismo dai radicali liberi, rafforza il sistema immunitario e svolge anche un’azione antitumorale. Le Il selenio si trova in modo particolare nelle noci brasiliane, nei legumi, nelle ostriche, nel tonno in scatola, nelle carni magre, nel latte e nei derivati, e nella farina integrale.
Il pesce, soprattutto salmone e sardine, è un altro alimento che non può assolutamente mancare dalla nostra tavola, fonte preziosa di acidi grassi omega 3, alleati del sorriso. Così come la vitamina D, tanto importante per le ossa, quanto per il buonumore.
