Alcuni consigli per rafforzare il sistema immunitario

In questo ultimo periodo le tante influenze e i continui cambi di temperatura hanno sicuramente influito sul nostro sistema immunitario che meno forte espone il nostro corpo ai rischi di malattie a carico di vari organi e funzioni. Il sistema immunitario, infatti, è tra i primi sistemi colpiti da disagi del corpo, a volte basta poco per ridurne la sua efficacia: influenze, allergie stagionali, alterazione della flora intestinale, stress, ecc.

Come possiamo aumentare le difese dell nostro corpo dai continui attacchi che ci provengono dall’esterno e/o dal nostro stesso corpo? Di seguito alcuni piccoli suggerimenti per ritrovare energia e ristabilire l’equilibrio generale del corpo. In primo luogo è fondamentale prevenire deficienze del sistema immunitario attraverso una dieta equilibrata che contenga alimenti freschi e ricchi di vitamine e minerali: sì a frutta e la verdura fresca. 

Nell’alimentazione è bene ridurre notevolmente gli zuccheri, alimenti contenenti troppi grassi, bevande ad alto contenuto di caffeina e bevande alcoliche. Alcune piante officinali hanno una funzione rinforzante il sistema immunitario, tra queste si consigliano zenzero, menta, timo, salvia. Un altro aspetto da tener sempre presente è la quantità di tempo che dedichiamo al riposo, dormire almeno otto ore a notte è di estrema importanza per la salute del corpo.

E’ importante però avere dei ritmi regolari del ciclo sonno-veglia, dormire poco la notte e cercare di recuperare con un pisolino pomeridiano porta il corpo ad una disregolazione di tali ritmi. Un altro aspetto da non trascurare è dato dalla nostra capacità di sopportare le basse temperature, a volte infatti il nostro corpo presenta un “termostato interno” non funzionante a causa dell’incapacità a tollerare le basse temperature.

Provare ogni mattina ad alternare getti di acqua calda a brevi getti di acqua fredda aiuta molto la circolazione con ricadute positive anche per il sistema immunitario. Non dimentichiamo infine che una vita troppo sedentaria non è certamente d’aiuto per il nostro sistema immunitario. E’ importante svolgere con costanza attività fisica ma in maniera moderata, tutti gli eccessi infatti possono rivelarsi dannosi per la salute del nostro corpo.
