Gli oli vegetali sono oli ricavati dai semi oleosi, o anche da oltre parti, di alcune piante, e possono essere utilizzati in diversi settori come, ad esempio l’alimentazione e la cosmetica. Uno degli oli vegetali più conosciuti è sicuramente l’olio di Argan, ottenuto dalla spremitura a freddo dei semi di una pianta originaria del nord dell’Africa, ossia l’Argania spinosa; quest’olio possiede molte proprietà benefiche e per questo viene utilizzato in molti campi. L’olio di Argan è un olio molto prezioso: basti pensare che per farne un litro sono necessari i frutto di sei alberi di Argania e ben 16 ore di lavoro.

Proprietà dell’olio di Argan

Innanzi tutto vediamone la composizione: l’olio di Argan è un olio vegetale che contiene circa l’80% di acidi grassi, sostanze dall’azione benefica sui disturbi reumatici e cardiovascolari; inoltre gli acidi grassi sono utili per proteggere i tessuti connettivi, migliorare le capacità celebrali, proteggono il fegato e aiutano la digestione. L’olio di Argan, inoltre, contiene molto acido linoleico che è in grado di regolare i valori di colesterolo nel sangue.

Non è finita qui, infatti l’olio di Argan contiene anche diverse vitamine, come la vitamina A e la F e, soprattutto la vitamina E, il che rende perfetto quest’olio per aiutare il ringiovanimento della pelle, grazie alla sua funzione antiossidante. Se usato in modo costante, l’olio di Argan è in grado di migliorare il tono muscolare del viso, rendere più liscia la pelle, attenuare le rughe, ridurre le irritazioni cutanee e prevenire le smagliature.

Sempre al livello cosmetico, l’olio di Argan può essere utilizzato per ridare vigore ai capelli secchi, fragili e sfibrati, contro le unghie fragili e le labbra screpolate e per fare i massaggi. L’olio di Argan è utile anche per alleviare il rossore dovuto alle bruciature, per curare le piaghe da decubito e per contrastare la psoriasi, soprattutto per ridurre la desquamazione e attenuare il prurito.
