La nuova dieta che è diventata famosissima in america si chiama dieta Stork, l’autore è il medico Travis Stork, autore di molti libri sulle diete e dell’ultimo intitolato “To Lose Your Belly Diet“, che in italiano suona come “la dieta per perdere la tua pancetta”.

Il dottor Stork è sostenitore accanito dei probiotici e della dieta del microbiota ed è convinto che anche i batteri intestinali siano coinvolti nel modo in cui noi riusciamo a perdere peso oppure ad ingrassare. Ed è proprio su questo principio che si basa la sua dieta, ormai divenuta bestseller in America e da settimane ai primi posti della classifica dei “diet book”. Il libro è uscito a dicembre ma continua ad essere tra i più venduti e apprezzati.

Le ragioni d questo successo sarebbero da ricercare nel nuov approccio che propone la dieta Stork. A partire dal fondamentale ruolo svolto dai batteri intestinali, Stork assicura che questi ultimi hanno un ruolo importante nella perdita e nell’aumento del peso. Non conosciamo ancora l’impatto preciso, ma secondo quanto detto dallo stesso Stok in recenti interviste, la dieta potrebbe aiutare a combattere il problema dell’obesità negli Stati Uniti d’America.

LA DIETA PER DIMAGRIRE PANCIA E FIANCHI

I principi della dieta Stork sono in molti aspetti simili a quelli di altre diete. Innanzitutto si devono assumere tre porzioni di verdure a foglia e verdure ricche di fibra al giorno, insieme a due porzioni di frutta a basso contenuto di zucchero, come mirtilli, more, lamponi e pere.

COME AVERE LA PANCIA PIATTA IN DUE GIORNI

Poi si possono mangiare due porzioni di cereali integrali al giorno, insieme a sei o sette porzioni di proteine e di queste fanno parte non solo carne e pesce, ma anche i legumi e e la frutta a guscio. E poi il principio comune a tutte le diete: evitare qualsiasi alimento ricco di zuccheri, le bevande gassate e i succhi di frutta industriali e ovviamente bere almeno otto bicchieri di acqua al giorno.
