Uno degli “effetti collaterali” delle diete iperproteiche, come ad esempio la dieta Dukan, è quello di soffrire di stitichezza, un disturbo molto fastidioso che provoca gonfiori e costipazione. Perché molte persone soffrono di stitichezza quando seguono una dieta iperproteica? Cosa si può fare per combattere questo disturbo? Scopriamolo insieme dopo il salto

Come ormai tutti sanno, la dieta Dukan è la dieta iperproteica più famosa del momento: ideata dal medico francese Pierre Dukan, questo regime dimagrante conta milioni di affezionati in tutto il mondo. La caratteristica principale della dieta Dukan è quella di essere iperproteica: ovvero durante il periodo di dieta si assumono soprattutto proteine mentre i carboidrati sono quasi banditi.

L’essere una dieta iperproteica, però, spesso provoca uno spiacevole effetto collaterale in chi la segue, ossia la stitichezza. Questo disturbo inizia è molto frequente nelle donne e si aggrava quando si è a dieta, tanto più se iperproteica, nella quale i grassi e i carboidrati introdotti sono pochi.

Per combattere la stitichezza, il dottor Dukan consiglia di assumere della crusca d’avena (tre cucchiai al giorno) alla quale va aggiunta della crusca di grano se il disturbo persiste; anche bere molto può aiutare, in quanto l’acqua rende i materiali di scarto più molli, ma anche usare olio di vaselina che, tra l’altro, non contiene calorie.

Inoltre il dottor Dukan consiglia, contro la stitichezza, di condire carne e pesce con una speciale salsa vinaigrette così composta: cinque cucchiai di aceto balsamico, un cucchiaio di senape, un cucchiaio di acqua frizzante, un cucchiaio di olio di vaselina, aglio o basilico. Questa salsa è molto utile per garantirvi un aiuto contro la stipsi.

Sempre secondo le indicazioni del dottor Dukan, per combattere la costipazione causata dalla stitichezza, oltre a bere molta acqua fin dal mattino e a usare olio di vaselina o di paraffina nei condimenti (per un massimo di un cucchiaio al giorno) è utile anche fare una serie di esercizi addominali per un totale di cento movimenti distribuiti nell’arco della giordana. Infine, un altro beneficio si può ottenere dalla composta di rabarbaro, ideale proprio contro la stitichezza.
