Il colon irritabile, ovvero la colite, è una patologia molto diffusa e molto spesso è accompagnata da uno stato di forte stress. Esattamente come per la gastrite, questo disturbo si combatte seguendo una vita sana (e quindi rallentando un po’ i ritmi frenetici), impegnandosi a fare un po’ di movimento, non fumando e facendo attenzione alla dieta. Caffeina
Tutti i prodotti che contengono caffeina andrebbero banditi, dal caffè alle bibite gassate, perché tendono a favorire la disidratazione causata dalla diarrea.
Fibre
Come sapete le fibre favoriscono il transito intestinale, ma se avete la colite la vostra attività sarà già abbastanza intensa e dolorosa. Riducete quanto più possibile le fibre.
Semi
Al bando anche i semi che sono tanto salutari ma con la colite fanno letteralmente a pugni. Attenzione soprattutto al muesli, che spesso contengono dei misti un po’ delicati per l’intestino.
Dolci
Che siano torte, cioccolatini o caramelle andrebbero dimenticati, perché i dolci aumentano la peristalsi intestinale e aggravano la diarrea. Evitare alimenti contenenti fibre e, per lo stesso motivo, non assumere alimenti dolcificati.
Fritti e grassi
Bisogna mangiare leggero, favorendo delle cotture delicate e facilmente digeribili. Per questo motivo, no a grassi, fritti, prodotti gastronomia, ecc.
Legumi
I fagioli sono quelli che possono dare più fastidio, aumentano l’aria, il gonfiore e il transito.
Latticini
I prodotti caseari, soprattutto se avete difficoltà a digerire il lattosio, vanno assolutamente evitati, possono infatti intensificare i sintomi della colite ulcerosa o causarne di simili.
