Non sono passati molti giorni da quando abbiamo dato alcune regole alimentari per non ingrassare e godersi le ferie, ma anche per contrastare la sindrome da jet lag. Secondo l’indagine Fipe (Federazione italiana pubblici esercizi), durante le vacanze quattro italiani su 10, soprattutto le donne, seguono una dieta molto più sana. Questa è un’ottima notizia e fa pensare che forse tutte le campagne di sensibilizzazioni sono servite a qualcosa.
Lo studio “estate 2011” è stato realizzato per fotografare le abitudini dei nostri connazionali e soprattutto per verificare come siano cambiate. Il campione utilizzato è 805 persone tutte maggiorenni. La cosa che più ha colpito è che un italiano su due in vacanza cambia o comunque modifica la sua dieta.
Avendo più tempo libero, ma anche recandosi in luoghi di villeggiatura con cucine estremamente gustose, si dedica più tempo sia alla tavola sia a consumare i pasti con una certa calma. Purtroppo durante l’anno si mangia troppo velocemente e si mastica male, rendendo più difficile la digestione. Sono soprattutto le donne a impostare questi ritmi più leggeri.
I ragazzi e i signori invece si concedono qualche strappo in più alle regole: gelati, bibite, snack. In casa i ruoli non cambiano: nonostante le ferie sono le donne a continuare a cucinare. Non c’è quindi da stupirsi che la formula all inclusive o pensione completa vada per la maggiore, perché è un modo per ottimizzare i costi e per riposarsi un pochino.
Il monitor ha rilevato poi dei dati davvero interessanti. Sono aumentati complessivamente nei consumi alimenti molto sani: frutta (+40,5%), gelati (+36%), che funziona bene come pasto sostitutivo, pesce e verdure. Sono in calo, invece, panini, carne, salumi e gli alcolici, mentre gli altri alimenti restano più o meno stabili. È ovvio che il clima gioca un ruolo fondamentale anche nella scelta del menù.
