Superare senza stress le feste natalizie? Non è impossibile soprattutto se ci si affida a una giusta alimentazione. A sostenerlo è una ricerca condotta dai nutrizionisti della Washington University, i quali hanno stilato una classifica di dieci cibi che aiuterebbero a superare sia le feste di Natale, tradizionalmente ricche di stress, e l’inverno.
Insomma: secondo gli esperti della Washington University i cibi giusti aiuterebbero a combattere ansia, tensioni e a riposare meglio, soprattutto nei periodi di forte stress come ad esempio quelli delle feste di Natale che, pur essendo gioiosi, rappresentano un momento di pressione, spesso sia lavorativa che personale.
Quali sono dunque questi dieci super cibi dalle proprietà benefiche? Ecco la lista stilata dagli esperti.
- Cereali integrali e pane integrale
- Tè caldo
- Frutta secca, in particolare pistacchi, noci e mandorle
- Cibi ricchi di vitamina C, come le arance, le fragole e i mirtilli
- Cioccolato fondente, ovviamente senza esagerare con le porzioni
- Pesce ricco di Omega 3, ovvero tonno, salmone e sardine
- Latte caldo
- Verdure fresche e croccanti come il sedano, le carote e l’insalata
- Acqua
- Avocado, un frutto che contiene molto potassio
Ma perché sono stati eletti cibi anti-stress proprio questi piuttosto che altri? A spiegarlo è la dottoressa Connie Diekman, direttore del Dipartimento di nutrizione della Washington University:
Si tratta di cibi che danno un maggiore senso di sazietà e fanno masticare a lungo, riducendo i livelli di ansia e scacciando il desiderio di continuare a mangiare. Mantengono i giusti livelli di zucchero nel sangue, abbassano la glicemia, possiedono effetti antinfiammatori e aumentano i livelli di serotonina che ha riconosciuti effetti calmanti. Infine le bevande calde infine facilitano il sonno.
Insomma: durante le prossime vacanze di Natale via libera ai dieci cibi che aiutano a superare lo stress e a riposare meglio, con ottimi benefici sia per l’umore che per la salute dell’organismo.
