Dimagrire in vista dell’estate: alcune semplici regole da osservare

Tutti quanti noi sappiamo molto bene che il modo migliore di superare con successo la prova costume è osservare una dieta corretta ed equilibrata durante tutto l’anno. Eppure spesso ce ne dimentichiamo abbandonandoci ad eccessi alimentari e vita sedentaria. Il risultato? Pancetta, pelle a buccia d’arancia e maniglie dell’amore hanno la meglio e finiscono per fare bella mostra di sè in spiaggia. Arrivati a questo punto cerchiamo di correre ai ripari ricorrendo a tanto drastiche quanto insalubri diete dell’ultimo minuto, sottoponendoci a massacranti allenamenti in palestra o, peggio, saltando i pasti.

Inutile dire che nella gran parte dei casi tutti questi espedienti rischiano di rivelarsi inutili se non dannosi per la salute. Cosa fare allora? Di seguito poche semplici regole da seguire per tornare in forma prima dell’estate senza nuocere al nostro benessere.

  1. Anzitutto può esservi di grande aiuto tenere un diario della vostra dieta. In questo modo potrete monitorare le vostre abitudini alimentari e apportare i dovuti cambiamenti, laddove emerga la necessità (non ci vuole molto a capire se si indulge troppo spesso al consumo di cibi ipercalorici).
  2. Mangiate molta frutta e verdura di stagione. Preferite soprattutto pomodori e peperoni e, in generale i vegetali, di colore giallo-arancione, che, a fronte di un elevato contenuto di vitamine e fibre, presentano un modesto tenore calorico.
  3. Bevete molta acqua. Bere almeno due litri di acqua al giorno aiuta ad accelerare il metabolismo, e quindi a bruciare più calorie, ed allontanare il pensiero del cibo fra un pasto e l’altro.
  4. Non dimenticate mai di fare colazione. A raccomandarlo è, anche, il Dipartimento di Salute pubblica della statunitense J. Hopkins Bloomberg School, che sottolinea come in una colazione equilibrata non debbano mai mancare carboidrati, latticini e frutta.
  5. Se pensate di concedervi un pasto al ristorante consumatene solo la metà. Il resto potete portarlo via!
  6. Se avete deciso di andare in palestra, cercate di vivere l’allenamento come un momento di svago e relax piuttosto che come un impegno cui dovete necessariamente sottoporvi. Inoltre, siate costanti.
  7. In ogni caso, fate un pò di moto: concedetevi qualche passeggiata, parcheggiate la macchina più lontano quando andate al lavoro o fare shopping, fate le scale anzichè prendere l’ascensore.
