Oli vegetali come integratori alimentari

Qualche giorno fa vi abbiamo parlato dell’olio d’Argan, uno degli oli vegetali più conosciuti; oggi torniamo sull’argomento illustrandovi le caratteristiche di altri oli vegetali utili come integratori alimentari.

Iniziamo ricordando brevemente cosa sono gli oli vegetali, ossia degli oli ricavati principalmente dalla spremitura dei semi di alcune piante e che contengono percentuali variabili di acidi grassi dall’azione antiossidante.

Oli vegetali integratori alimentari

Tra gli oli vegetali usati come integratori alimentari ci sono l’olio di mandorle dolci, l’olio di riso, l’olio di lino e l’olio di nocciola.

Olio di mandorle dolci. L’olio di mandorle dolci si ricava dalla spremitura a freddo delle mandorle dolci; come integratore alimentare, da assumere quotidianamente, serve a prevenire le malattie cardiache, ma può essere usato anche per prevenire la comparsa delle smagliature in seguito alla gravidanza o una dieta dimagrante, grazie alle sue proprietà idratanti ed emollienti; quest’olio è anche un buon cicatrizzante ed è utile per evitare i segni della pelle dopo la varicella e il morbillo.

Olio di riso. L’olio di riso è ricco di omega 3 e di vitamina E; come integratore alimentare aiuta a controllare i valori del colesterolo nel sangue e, grazie al suo sapore gradevole è indicato per arricchire i piatti a base di riso. Oltre ad essere un buon antiossidante, l’olio di riso è utile per combattere l’invecchiamento cutaneo, la secchezza della pelle e per proteggerla dai danni provocati dai raggi UV.

Olio di lino. L’olio di lino si ottiene per spremitura dei semi del lino; è una buona fonte di omega 3 e omega 6, ed è indicato per abbassare il colesterolo nel sangue e per il corretto funzionamento del sistema cardio-circolatorio; quest’olio serve anche ad aiutare la digestione e le funzioni intestinali, prevenendo la comparsa delle emorroidi. L’olio di lino è ottimo anche come impacco per rendere lucidi i capelli.

Olio di nocciola. L’olio di nocciola è un ottimo antiossidante, è ricco di acidi insaturi di vitamine A ed E; in cucina viene usato per condire le insalate e le salse, mentre in cosmetica è l’ideale per curare le pelli grassi e quelle che soffrono di acne perché possiede proprietà astringenti ed è in grado di riequilibrare la composizione del sebo.
