Cosa mangiare per un fegato in salute? Una dieta sana ed equilibrata principalmente, avendo cura di selezionare specifici alimenti che siano in grado con i loro benefici di aiutarlo a lavorare bene per l’organismo senza farlo ammalare.

Le importantissime funzioni del fegato

Il fegato e il suo lavoro sono importantissimi per garantirci un ottimo stato di salute e un corretto funzionamento del metabolismo: è altresì importante per il nostro sistema immunitario e si occupa di eliminare le tossine che il nostro corpo accumula. Si tratta di una parte del nostro organismo che spesso viene sottovalutata, sia per quel che concerne le sue funzioni generali sia le sue capacità di rigenerarsi.

Esso produce la bile, un liquido basico che aiuta il corpo a trasformare gli alimenti che ingeriamo, mentre le sue cellule si occupano di smaltire i grassi, il colesterolo e i trigliceridi. Le sue cellule di Kupffer aiutano nella rimozione delle cellule danneggiate e ripuliscono il nostro sangue, stimolando contemporaneamente il sistema immunitario.

Nel momento in cui il fegato subisce dei danni, generalmente è la salute generale della persona a rimetterci: sono diverse le patologie che possono colpirlo e che possiamo cercare di prevenire inserendo particolari alimenti all’interno della nostra dieta.

Cosa mangiare per stare bene

Il primo alimento salutare che dovremmo inserire all’interno della nostra dieta sono i funghi. Diverse ricerche hanno mostrato come il loro consumo sia capace di eliminare le tossine derivanti o da un cattiva alimentazione o dal consumo reiterato di alcol e sigarette. Anche i broccoli agiscono per il bene del nostro fegato: su Journal of Nutrition è recentemente stato pubblicato uno studio che indica il loro effetto anticancro.

Il superfood per eccellenza, l’avocado, sarebbe capace di aiutare il fegato a riparare i danni causati da una cattiva alimentazione e alcune patologie, aiutando la ghiandola a eliminare le tossine. Più o meno la stessa azione del tè verde, conosciuto anche per essere un potente antiossidante.

Non è sempre possibile inserirlo in una dieta, soprattutto se dimagrante, ma anche il cocco è un ottimo alimento da consumare per mantenere il fegato in buona salute grazie alle sue peculiarità detox, antinfiammatorie e antibatteriche. Lo zenzero è perfetto per eliminare scorie e tossine in eccesso e aiuta il fegato a liberarsi degli accumuli di grasso.

La salute del fegato può migliorare anche grazie al consumo di noci, con la loro ricchezza di arginina, un amminoacido che stimola l’organismo nella depurazione: la loro dose di vitamina E è considerata utile per prevenire la steatosi epatica.
