L’alga nori, nota anche con il nome di lattuga di mare, deve la propria fama al fatto di essere uno degli ingredienti fondamentali del sushi. Oltre ad avere un sapore gradevole è ricca di proteine, vitamine e oligoelementi quali zinco, selenio, rame e manganese e, in virtù del suo elevato contenuto di taurina, previene l’insorgenza dei calcoli ed aiuta a mantenere sotto controllo il colesterolo. Viene anche anche consumata come stuzzichino in piccoli pezzetti da sgranocchiare o da intingere in salse.
