10 motivi per non mettersi a dieta

Per una volta non parliamo di diete e regimi alimentari per perdere peso o curare il nostro benessere a tavola, vogliamo invece illustrarvi 10 motivi per non mettersi a dieta. D’altronde accettare il proprio corpo ed evitare di improvvisare una dieta scorretta che avrà come unico risultato farci riprendere peso in fretta sono solo due dei molti buoni motivi esistenti.

Con l’avvicinarsi dell’estate e lo spauracchio della prova costume la voglia di rimettersi in forma è forte ma oggi vogliamo celebrare un altro punto di vista, quello di chi sa accettarsi, dire no alle diete a ripetizione, scegliere un’alimentazione sana, equilibrata e varia senza preoccuparsi troppo dell’ago della bilancia.

Le diete sono costose

È vero, seguire una dieta richiede un investimento sia di tempo che di denaro, specialmente se si tratta di diete iperproteiche: le proteine non devono mancare in nessun regime alimentare ma è un fatto che sono mediamente più care di altri alimenti.

Le diete non funzionano

Spesso il dimagrimento è solo apparente perché si perdono velocemente liquidi e non massa grssa. Specialmente se le diete sono drastiche e non equilibrate si rischia di incorrere nel famigerato effetto yo-yo e riprendere peso rapidamente.

La dieta è noiosa

Quando ci fissiamo con una dieta non parliamo d’altro, quasi ne siamo ossessionati. Contiamo calorie, compariamo cibi e sistemi per dimagrire, col risultato di diventare noiosi. Oppure, al contrario, ad essere noiosa è proprio la dieta perché poco variata e troppo restrittiva.

Le diete ci tolgono il gusto del cibo

Quando siamo a dieta il cibo può diventare un nemico anziché un alleato di salute e il necessario carburante per la nostra vita quotidiana.

Diete e canone di bellezza

L’ansia di rincorrere un ideale di bellezza socialmente accettabile, per entrare a tutti i costi in una taglia considerata normale, ci induce ad imbarcarci in avventure dietetiche spesso poco sane.

Le diete ci fiacca

Impegnarsi troppo in un regime alimetare ipocalorico ci sottrae energie, sia fisiche che mentali.

Le diete e i disordini alimentari

Non è certo un binomio automatico, ma esiste una correlazione tra diete ossessive e disturbi alimentari.

La dieta non è sexy

Contro ogni nostra convinzione, gli uomini – ma anche molte donne – amano le curve. Essere affascinanti non ha un legame univoco con l’essere magri.

La dieta non ci rende più belli

Non esiste la taglia perfetta per la bellezza, non esiste neanche un ideale a cui dobbiamo sentirci vincolati benché la pubblicità voglia farci credere il contrario.

Accettarsi

Imparare ad accettarsi sviluppando senso critico e una certa distanza dai canoni imposti dall’esterno ci renderà più semplice accettare anche i piccoli difetti, del tutto normali.
