Bere una tazza di latte al giorno fa bene alla salute

Vi ricordate quando da piccole la mamma ci faceva bere una tazza di latte a colazione e poi a merenda o prima di andare a letto? Bene, quella di bere una tazza di latte al giorno è una buona abitudine da riprendere anche se abbiamo superato l’infanzia.

Il latte, infatti, fa bene a tutti e a qualsiasi età, basti pensare che una tazza di latte, circa 250 grammi, è sufficiente per soddisfare il fabbisogno giornaliero di calcio di un adulto, e senza alcun tipo di effetti collaterali.

La dottoressa Valeria Del Balzo, nutrizionista del dipartimento di Fisiopatologia Medica sezione di Scienza dell’Alimentazione dell’Università La Sapienza,  in occasione del seminario che si è tenuto nei giorni scorsi a Roma, ha spiegato:

Il latte è un alimento completo che apporta acqua, calcio, proteine, grassi, vitamine e sali minerali. E i grassi in esso contenuti non sono tali da giustificarne l’eliminazione dalla dieta di chi soffre di patologie legate alla presenza di grassi nel sangue, come la dislipidemia, non risultano responsabili dell’insorgenza delle patologie cardiovascolari.

Non è finita qui; infatti, la dottoressa Del Balzo ha spiegato che alcune sostanze contenute nel latte vaccino, cioè i biopeptidi, possiedono proprietà anti cangerogene e in grado di combattere l’ipertensione.

Inoltre, recenti studi hanno dimostrato la presenza nel latte dell’acido linoleico coniugato, un acido grasso dall’azione anti cancerogena e anti diapetogena. Tutte queste proprietà, quindi, rendono il consumo di latte assolutamente raccomandato alle persone di tutte le età.

Niente paura per quanto riguarda la sicurezza del latte che arriva nelle tavole: grazie a scrupolosi controlli, il valore nutritivo del latte è sempre salvaguardato, ovviamente applicando le norme igienico-sanitarie di riferimento. Inoltre, sono state eseguite delle analisi per analizzare meglio la composizione del latte, riuscendo anche a sfatare alcuni falsi miti: infatti il trattamento termico industriale non distrugge le vitamine contenute nel latte.

I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
