Gerry Scotti e la dieta post covid

Gerry Scotti un anno fa ha fatto parte di quei pazienti che hanno sperimentato il covid-19 in forma grave: ricoverato all’Humanitas di Milano in terapia intensiva è stato uno dei fortunati che sono stati in grado di guarire dal virus. Dimagrito 11 chili, una volta uscito dall’ospedale ha deciso di fare più attenzione alla sua alimentazione puntando su un regime di detox praticamente permanente.

Regime pressoché vegetariano per Gerry Scotti

Una decisione che ha portato Gerry Scotti a preferire un regime alimentare vegetariano una volta lasciato il nosocomio. Come ha raccontato lui stesso si è trattato della seconda volta nella sua vita nella quale ha eliminato la carne:

Ho seguito un regime vegetariano. Era la seconda volta in vita mia: la prima era stata durante il lockdown del 2020, quando con la mia compagna e mio figlio Edoardo non l’abbiamo toccata per 40 giorni, fino a Pasqua. Adesso limito le quantità: una volta a settimana pollo, pesce e uova e raramente quella rossa. Per me che soffro di pressione alta è meglio così.

Un approccio alimentare quindi basato su un consumo attento basato anche sulle proprie condizioni pregresse in modo tale da poter rimanere in forma senza fare troppa fatica: una dieta, quella seguita dal presentatore, che punta al consumo di cibi coltivati naturalmente e di qualità. Come lui stesso ha dichiarato più volte ha un buon rapporto con il cibo proprio per questo motivo.

Attenzione particolare ai pasti fuori orario

Gerry Scotti quando si tratta di mangiare è una persona che evita il più possibile di ingerire cibo fuori orario preferendo “saltare”  quando non riesce a sedersi e mangiare con calma. Un atteggiamento, quello del salto del pasto non propriamente ottimale per un regime alimentare sano che viene però “mediato” da alcuni comportamenti. Come ha raccontato al Corriere della Sera, nel mese di maggio, come insegnatogli dalla madre, fa un fioretto per il quale elimina alcol e aperitivi, raggiungendo ogni volta un calo di circa 5-6 chili.  La domenica cena con fiocchi d’avena con il latte e almeno cinquanta lunedì l’anno cena con il minestrone.

Il suo obiettivo, a breve, è quello d’impegnarsi nella perdita di ulteriori dieci chili: sta aspettando che il ginocchio al momento malandato gli consenta di darsi da fare in modo importante anche dal punto di vista dell’attività fisica. L’unico cibo che davvero rischia di metterlo in crisi, dal punto di vista alimentare, a quanto pare è la pizza che mangerebbe “anche ghiacciata, di notte“.
