Gastrite, la dieta giusta

La gastrite è un’infiammazione, acuta o cronica, della parete gastrica che si manifesta con sintomi quali acidità, bruciori e crampi allo stomaco, vomito e nausea. Mentre la gastrite cronica viene generalmente trattata attraverso l’assunzione, dietro consiglio medico, di farmaci mirati, le forme acute, lievi e transitorie, del disturbo, possono essere affrontate seguendo un regime alimentare adeguato, magari associato a un periodo di riposo. Talvolta infatti a causare la gastrite sono proprio cattive abitudini alimentari rappresentate primariamente dall’abuso di cibi e bevande irritanti per la mucosa gastrica o l’abuso di alcol e farmaci di automedicazione che esercitano un’azione gastrolesiva.

Sia in caso di gastrite cronica, che in caso di gastrite acuta, è dunque importante osservare precise regole alimentari che, se non permettono di risolvere il problema, questo vale soprattutto per le forme croniche, consentono di “tenerlo a bada” attenuandone allo stesso tempo le manifestazioni sintomatiche. Sappiate però che se siete affetti da gastrite, oltre agli immancabili elenchi di cibi consigliati e di cibi da evitare, dovrete tener conto anche che di alcune regole di comportamento che vi saranno altrettanto utili che la scelta dei cibi maggiormente indicati e l’evitamento di quelli che invece possono nuocere nella vostra condizione:

  • evitate pasti troppo abbondanti distribuendo piuttosto l’introito calorico (e, più in generale di cibo, nell’arco di cinque pasti giornalieri, senza trascurare gli spuntini di metà mattina e metà pomeriggio e non mangiate mai di fretta, masticando sempre molto a lungo ogni boccone.
  • bevete molta acqua, soprattutto se vomitate spesso, ed agevolate la digestione facendo una bella passeggiata dopo pranzo.
