Gli studi più significativi provengono dall’oncologia che ha attribuito alla curcumina, sulla base di specifiche ricerche americane, un elevato potere nel contrastare la formazione di tumori. In particolare rallenta la crescita dei melanomi e previene la formazione del tumore alla prostata.
