Dieta personalizzata con test delle urine

C’è un nuovo modo di perdere peso e probabilmente rivoluzionerà le diete.  Attraverso l’analisi dei sedimenti contenuti nell’urina è possibile determinare la dieta migliore. Il concetto ricorda un po’ il test del Dna, ma questo esame è molto più preciso e affidabile.  Una dieta perché dia i risultati sperati non deve essere mai troppo rigida, perché l’organismo reagisce a un nuovo regime alimentare modificando il metabolismo, gradualmente, nel tempo. Con il test delle urine, messo a punto dal centro di ricerca Cerifos di Milano, è possibile proprio tenere sotto controllo l’evoluzione di questo ciclo.

Il test analizza i cataboliti urinari, che sono quei sedimenti che possono dare indicazioni su che cosa l’organismo ha assimilato e cosa no. In particolare, il test individua quali macronutrienti (carboidrati, proteine, grassi) danno maggiori problemi durante la digestione. Questo permette al medico di studiare un’alimentazione mirata per il paziente, evitando tutte le potenziali intolleranze alimentari che contribuiscono a gonfiare.

Questi sedimenti vengono rintracciati nelle urine a seguito di una cattiva digestione di carboidrati, proteine e grassi. In particolare, la presenza di fosfato di calcio si ricollega al malassorbimento dei carboidrati, l’acido urico è il residuo del malassorbimento delle proteine, e l’ossalato di calcio è il residuo del malassorbimento dei grassi.

Per avere il quadro di una persona completa e iniziare a studiare la dieta, dopo quello delle urine, occorrono altri esami come il test del peso specifico delle urine che indica problemi di disidratazione, disfunzioni renali e diabete, o quello del calcio che invece segnala se l’alimentazione è troppo ricca di grassi o zuccheri raffinati. Infine, l’analisi della tossicità intestinale (test di Obermeyer) svela la presenza di composti tossici fenolici dovuti a problemi dell’intestino, come una cattiva digestione o le più comuni  intolleranze, e  il test dello stress surrenalico misura il livello di cloro nelle urine, che ovviamente è correlato al funzionamento della ghiandola surrenalica.
