La dieta della zucca

Nonostante Halloween sia passato, la zucca non cessa di essere protagonista nelle nostre tavole; ortaggio autunnale per eccellenza, la zucca è un’autentica miniera di sostanze benefiche, tanto da essere diventata protagonista di una dieta tematica, la dieta della zucca, appunto. Prima di scoprire i menù di questa dieta, ricordiamo brevemente quali sono le caratteristiche che rendono la zucca un alimento indispensabile nella nostra alimentazione.

Innanzi tutto la zucca è un alimento light, povera di zuccheri, apporta solo 17 calorie ogni cento grammi, è ricca di acqua e di fibre, che le conferiscono un alto potere saziante. Come si evince dal suo colore arancione brillante, la zucca è un concentrato di carotenoidi, sostanze che l’organismo trasforma in vitamina A, indispensabili per frenare l’invecchiamento della pelle. Inoltre, contiene ottime dosi di potassio, minerale importante per il cuore, per il sistema nervoso e per depurare l’organismo.

Sia i semi che la polpa della zucca contengono sostanze utili all’organismo; i semi sono ricchi di vitamina E ed F, e di selenio, un minerale dall’importante azione anti età; anche la polpa è ottima per frenare l’azione dei radicali liberi.

Esistono diverse varietà di zucca, per le minestre e i passati scegliete la zucca lunga, che possiede la polpa morbida facilmente sfaldabile, per i risotti, preferite la zucca mantovana che ha la polpa più soda e dolce.

Come dicevamo all’inizio le straordinarie qualità della zucca hanno fatto sì che questo ortaggio diventasse protagonista di una dieta; la dieta della zucca va seguita per due settimane e permette di perdere un chilo e di depurare l’organismo; i menù giornalieri forniscono circa 1400 calorie.

Esempio di menù della dieta della zucca

Colazione: Caffè o tè verde con 6 biscotti secchi oppure 4 fette biscottate con un velo di marmellata
Pranzo: 80 g. di risotto con la zucca condito con un cucchiaino di parmigiano, 200 g. di erbette al vapore con un cucchiaino d’olio e uno di limone
Merenda: un frutto oppure uno yogurt magro alla frutta
Cena: due hamburger di vitello alla griglia, 200 g. di spinaci al vapore conditi con un cucchiaino d’olio e uno di limone
