I cibi che proteggono i capelli dal sole

Pelle e capelli, in estate, sono davvero messi a dura prova dagli effetti ossidanti del sole. Le nostre chiome tendono a seccarsi, a disidratarsi, a diventare più fragili e spesso assumono anche colorazioni improbabili, soprattutto se abbiamo come base una tinta o dei riflessi colorati. Ecco quindi che la dieta ci viene in aiuto. Ci sono dei cibi fondamentali per mantenere in salute i nostri capelli.


“Senza nulla togliere all’importanza di una buona crema protettiva e ai consigli di non esporsi nelle ore troppo calde, alcuni alimenti contengono sostanze che aiutano a proteggerci dall’interno dallo stress ossidativo dovuto all’esposizione a raggi Uva e Uvb. Oggi esistono integratori per la pelle e per i capelli, che, assunti per via orale durante la stagione estiva, neutralizzano i danni solari. Ma in generale è consigliata un’alimentazione ricca di Omega 3 e vitamina B, così come di frutta e verdura, soprattutto se colorate”.

Ha ricordato Marcella Ribuffo, direttore dell’Unità di Dermocosmetologia dell’Istituto Dermopatico dell’Immacolata. Quali sono dunque questi cibi miracolosi?


  1. Pomodori, meglio se maturi, che contengono licopene ricco di antiossidanti.
  2. More e frutti di bosco, che proteggono le cellule.
  3. Tè verde, ricco di antiossidanti contenuti nei polifenoli.
  4. Cacao, un ottimo antiossidante grazie ai flavonoidi contenuti.
  5. Pesce azzurro, ricco di Omega 3.
  6. Uova, ricche di vitamina B, che ripara le membrane cellulari danneggiate.
  7. Carote, ricche di carotenoidi che stimolano la melanina.
  8. Albicocche, ricche di carotenoidi, ma anche di vitamina A e C e di minerali.
  9. Peperoni gialli e rossi, ricchi di carotenoidi e antiossidanti

Sono tutti prodotti di stagione…
