Cibi light: il gelato al melone

Proprio qualche giorno fa vi abbiamo parlato del melone e delle sue tante proprietà, tra le quali quella di essere molto dissetante e rinfrescante, oltre a contenere vitamine, sali minerali e di avere poche calorie.

Ecco perché, nella nostra rassegna di ricette light non poteva mancare quella del gelato al melone, perfetto per una pausa rinfrescante e senza troppi rischi per la linea. Proprio per non far salire le calorie del gelato, al posto dello zucchero usate il dolcificante.

Gelato al melone

Ingredienti

300 g. di melone, 250 ml di latte scremato, due uova e 6 cucchiaini di dolcificante

Preparazione

Spezzettate il melone e frullatelo, dopodiché montate i tuorli delle uova con il dolcificante fino a quando non avrete ottenuto un composto spumoso; a questo punto unite il latte caldo lentamente e a filo. Mettere il tutto sul fuoco a fiamma media e fate bollire.

Una volta che il composto sarà arrivato a bollore fatelo raffreddare e poi unite la purea di melone mescolando continuamente. Montate a neve gli albumi e uniteli al composto che poi verserete nelle gelatiera. Se non avete la gelatiera, mettete il composto a gelare in freezer per almeno 5 ore, mescolando con cura ogni mezz’ora nelle prime due ore e ogni ora nelle altre tre.
