È un modo quindi per mantenersi in forma, ma anche per divertirsi, perché ovviamente racchiude tutti i pro dei balli latino-americani. Inoltre, insegna a essere un pochino più sensuali, a muoversi con più grazia e ad avere un po’ più di portamento.

La Zumba potenzia la resistenza. Alterna ritmi molto lenti a velocissimi, durante tutto l’allenamento, e questo permette di sviluppare più fiato, perché è un esercizio cardio. Veniamo alla parte muscolare. Le zone più tonificate sono le gambe e gli addominali, anche se durante la danza vengono coinvolte un po’ tutte le fasce muscolari. Inoltre, è fondamentale se siete interessati a bruciare grassi e a perdere un po’ di peso.

Durante la Zumba si suda tantissimo, è bene quindi avere con sé dell’acqua e idratarsi periodicamente. Non sapete dove praticarla e non avete ancora trovato una palestra vicino a casa con un corso? Non disperate. Questo allenamento è diventato così di moda, che lo potete trovare anche in DVD. I dati sono davvero sconvolgenti.
