EnerZona è una linea di prodotti pensata appositamente per chi vuole seguire la dieta a zona, un regime alimentare nato intorno agli anni Novanta, messo a punto dal biochimico Barry Sears, che garantisce un dimagrimento moderato e stabile nel tempo, nonché un controllo del peso corporeo, e una maggiore tonicità muscolare.
Tuttavia, per quanto i prodotti EnerZona facciano riferimento a questo metodo alimentare, hanno ben poco in comune, e basta dare uno sguardo alla lista dei prodotti per capirlo: frollini, latte di soya, barrette proteiche e snack di vario tipo, beveroni a base di siero di latte e proteine, ecc. Come saprete già, non sono per le diete preconfezionate, soprattutto perché sono illusorie e non insegnano ad avere un approccio diverso all’alimentazione.
Non mi stupisce, infatti, di trovare in rete solo pareri di utenti prima sedotte e poi deluse da EnerZona. Come ripeto spesso, non esistono scorciatoie per dimagrire, ma la dieta non deve nemmeno essere intesa come una punizione, questo è l’errore più frequente.
A mio avviso, i prodotti EnerZona vivono di luce riflessa, ovvero godono della notorietà della dieta a zona, che non è semplicemente un regime dimagrante, ma uno stile di vita, basato essenzialmente sulla riduzione della produzione di insulina, che secondo Sears sarebbe responsabile di trasformare i carboidrati in tessuto adiposo, e sul controllo degli eicosanoidi, agenti biologici che esercitano funzioni essenziali per l’organismo, classificati in eicosanoidi buoni, e in eicosanoidi cattivi.
La dieta a zona mira a ristabilire un equilibrio fra questi elementi. Come? Prima di tutto, in ogni pasto bisogna rispettare le giuste proporzioni di carboidrati, proteine e grassi (il rapporto in calorie deve essere 40%-30%-30%). La giornata deve essere composta da almeno 3 pasti e 2 spuntini, occorre ridurre il più possibile il consumo di dolci, pane, pasta, cereali raffinati, aumentando invece il consumo di frutta e verdura, che sono carboidrati a basso indice glicemico, e stimolano l’insulina in modo graduale.
