Anche se, per onor del vero, il ricorso alla chirurgia estetica per “cancellare” i segni del tempo è sempre meno guardata, a favore di cure meno invasive, come lo sono le creme anti-età.
Ma dai ricercatori di Vichy, arriva una scoperta davvero interessante, che potrebbe rivoluzionare i trattamenti anti-age. Grazie ad una ricerca durata più di 10 anni, infatti, è emerso come un particolare zucchero verde, estratto da alcune piante che crescono in Brasile, sia in grado di combattere i processi di invecchiamento precoce. Lo zucchero si chiama Rhamnose ed era già noto per le sue virtù terapeutiche.
Lo zucchero verde ha il merito di agire sul derma papillare e di riattivarlo, stimolando la produzione di collagene ed elastina, che a causa dell’avanzare del tempo e dell’esposizione solare, diminuisce drasticamente. Il derma papillare, infatti, è una zona molto sensibile ed alla base della rigenerazione di tutti gli altri strati cutanei. Non è difficile, quindi, capire come sia importante, per prevenire la comparsa delle rughe, dedicare particolare attenzione a questa area della pelle.
La dermatologa Elisabetta Perosino, segretario generale dell’ISPLAD, ha spiegato che:
Lo zucchero Rhamnose è stato testato in sette studi clinici e 2 studi in vivo. I test hanno dimostrato come contenga una concentrazione del 5%, in grado di agire contro diversi tipi di rughe, anche quelle della fronte, più difficili da trattare, già dopo due settimane. Gli effetti si intensificano dopo due mesi. Test di valutazione dell’efficacia e della tollerabilità sono stati condotti su 800 donne in tutto il mondo e su oltre 2000 donne in Italia.
Dunque, non possiamo far altro che incrociare le dita e sperare che questo zucchero miracoloso venga integrato nella formulazione dei trattamenti anti-età e approdi presto negli scaffali delle profumerie!
