Il gomasio è un alimento naturale che si può utilizzare anche per condire le insalate, la carne, il pesce e le verdure. È di origine nipponica ed è costituito da semi di sesamo (goma) tostati e sale (shio). I semi del sesamo sono molto nutrienti e sono ricchi di vitamine e sali minerali.

Il gomasio è anche ideale nelle diete vegetariane o vegane, inoltre è un sostituto del sale in caso di diete iposodiche. Inoltre, è ottimo anche si vuole perdere peso ed è altamente digeribile. Come abbiamo accennato all’inizio si può utilizzare il gomasio per condire le verdure crude in insalata o cotte al vapore, ma anche per insaporire le carni e il pesce (soprattutto cotti al forno). Come si prepara in casa?
- Lavate il sesamo, scolatelo e tostatelo in una padella pesante di ghisa
- Mescolare costantemente con un cucchiaio di legno finché i semi non saranno tostati.
- Mettere ora il sale in una padella e girare il contenuto
- Rovesciate poi il tutto in un mortaio e schiacciate molto bene, finché il gomasio non sarò pronto.
