Coldiretti: gli italiani tornano alla dieta mediterranea

Dopo cinque anni di calo dei consumi, l’ultimo studio di Coldiretti segnala finalmente il segno positivo per il consumo degli alimenti più importanti della dieta mediterranea. Sulle tavole degli italiani tornano infatti alimenti indispensabili come le verdure e il pesce e i dati Ismea ci dicono che dopo cinque anni di segno negativo, finalmente torna a crescere la spesa degli italiani per l’acquisto di beni alimentari con un salto complessivo del 3,2%.

Il consumo del pesce fresco sale al +7%, frutta di stagione (+4,3%), frutta secca (+7,9%), pasta di semola integrale (+16%) o il riso integrale (+20%) aumentano decisamente rispetto all’anno precedente. E non finisce qui, infatti pare che gli itliani siano più attenti a consumare prodotti salutistici ma senza rinunciare alla praticità e alla velocità. Secondo Coldiretti infatti è aumentata la spesa complessiva per prodotti come le zuppe pronte (+33%) e per le insalate in busta con gli ortaggi di IV gamma (+4,3%).

Anche il consumo dell’olio extravergine di oliva evidenzia un incremento e nel 2017 risulta superiore dell’11% rispetto al 2016 mentre sono in flessione i derivati del pomodoro (-0,5%) e la pasta secca di semola con un calo del 3%. C’è a considerare però che, come spiega Coldiretti, è molto probabile che gli italiani tornino a consumare la pasta secca di grano duro nel 2018, visto che le nuove regole prevedono l’entrata in vigore dell’obbligo di indicare in etichetta l’origine degli ingredienti utilizzati, obbligo che potrebbe portare ad un aumento di fiducia dei consumatori nei confronti dei marchi che producono pasta con grano di provenienza italiana.
