Con l’arrivo della bella stagione arriva anche la voglia di passare le giornate all’aria aperta e in compagnia. Infatti, cosa c’è di meglio di un bel pranzetto al bosco con amici o parenti? Il pic-nic è sempre un momento divertente e da ricordare, tra risate e cibo non ci si annoia mai.
La preparazione del barbecue poi, diventa l’occasione giusta per collaborare tutti insieme…ma ovviamente, c’è sempre chi decide di svignarsela e di godersi direttamente il piatto di carne a tavola. Infatti, sono quasi sempre le solite persone ad occuparsi della cottura della carne.
E allora, attraverso dei piccoli consigli, ti spiegheremo come preparare velocemente il barbecue per una grigliata a base di carne.
Per prima cosa, togli la griglia di cottura e il coperchio, poi rimuovi con una spazzola tutta la cenere e i vari detriti.
Successivamente, apri la presa d’aria inferiore, in modo che il flusso dell’aria alimenti le fiamme e aiuti la carbonella a bruciare. Per regolare la temperatura della brace gradualmente, puoi anche tenerla semichiusa all’inizio della cottura e aprirla poi in corso d’opera.
Per un sapore indescrivibile, ma soprattutto per ottenere una rapida accensione, acquista un pacco di bricchetti e carbonella. Raggruppa il tutto sul fondo del barbecue e disponilo a forma di piramide. Così facendo, il calore salirà dal basso e i vari blocchi di carbonella e bricchetti si accenderanno a catena.
Se vuoi velocizzare ancora di più l’accensione, puoi versare una giusta quantità di liquido infiammabile sul blocco che hai formato. Fai molta attenzione quando versi il liquido e soprattutto accertati di non esserti unto sui vestiti. In caso contrario ti consiglio di cambiare la maglietta per evitare spiacevoli problemi.
Infine, utilizza un fiammifero lungo oppure un accendino lungo per accendere carbonella e bricchetti.
Adesso, attendi una decina di minuti (solitamente non è mai superiore il tempo) per far bruciare la carbonella. Il momento giusto sarà quando la vedrai ricoperta di cenere bianca.
Durante questo tempo, soffia con un ventaglio ogni tanto, in modo da alimentare il fuoco. Un altro amico o parente, si occuperà invece di disporre la carne da cuocere sulla griglia.
Una volta trascorsi i quindici minuti, potete rimettere la griglia sul barbecue e far cuocere la carne.
Consigli e avvertenze
- Per velocizzare la preparazione della prossima grigliata, una volta terminato di cuocere la carne, attendi che il barbecue si raffreddi e puliscilo attentamente. Per essere sicuro al 100% che non sia più caldo, versa una bottiglia d’acqua sulla brace.
Butta via i residui di carbonella e rimuovi il grasso dalla griglia.
Per la rimozione del grasso dalla griglia, ti consigliamo di utilizzare uno sgrassatore di qualità (insieme a dell’acqua abbondante), e di asciugare con un panno da cucina a cui non sei troppo affezionato. - Nell’articolo ti abbiamo consigliato di utilizzare del liquido infiammabile per velocizzare l’accensione, ma si tratta comunque di un metodo non eccessivamente sicuro.
