La soia avrebbe proprietà afrodisiache. A sostenerlo, è il ricercatore Michael Wasserman della Università di Berkeley, in California. Lo studio ha preso in esame il comportamento di una particolare tipologia di scimmie che vivono in Uganda, all’interno del Kibale National Park, e le variazioni dei loro livelli ormonali.

Dall’analisi dei dati è emerso come i primati di sesso maschile che si alimentavano delle foglie di Millettia, una pianta tropicale simile alla soia, presentavano concentrazioni più elevate di cortisolo e di estradiolo, il cosiddetto “ormone del sesso”. Il team di esperti ne ha concluso che le scimmie che consumano questo vegetale in quantità maggiori, erano anche quelle con una vita sessuale più attiva.

Come ha spiegato il professore Michael Wasserman:

Le piante possono aver giocato un ruolo importante nell’evoluzione dei primati, compresi gli esseri umani, in modi che, finora, sono stati sottovalutati.

Dunque, chi desidera una vita “sotto le coperte” più vivace, metta da parte bistecche e hamburger e dia la precedenza a soia e derivati! Ecco, allora qualche ricetta a base di soia, per migliorare l’attività sessuale.

Bocconcini di soia con patate e carciofi

  • 400 g di bocconcini di soia
  • 200 grammi di patate
  • 400 grammi di carciofi
  • Aglio
  • Olio evo
  • Cipolla
  • Brodo vegetale
  • Alloro
  • Sale q.b.


  1. Fate rosolare l’aglio e la cipolla nell’olio.
  2. Aggiungete le patate a dadini e i carciofi lessati e tritati non troppo finemente, il trito di rosmarino, salvia, alloro e i bocconcini (reidratati in precedenza).
  3. Versate tre bicchieri di brodo vegetale e fate cuocere per 30 minuti, mettendo altra acqua all’occorrenza.
  4. Al termine, alzate la fiamma per far consumare completamente l’acqua.

Polpette di soia


  • 225 g di soia cotta
  •  1 cipolla tritata
  • 1 litro di brodo vegetale
  • ½ cucchiaino di timo
  • 1 cucchiaio di spinaci o di prezzemolo fresco tritato
  • Olio
  • Sale
  • Pepe


  1. Lasciate la soia in ammollo per 12 ore, poi scolatela e schiacciatela leggermente con una forchetta, in modo che eliminare l’acqua.
  2. Fate soffriggere la cipolla nell’olio caldo e unite la soia, il brodo, il timo, il pepe e un pizzico di sale.
  3. Portate ad ebollizione lasciate cuocere a fuoco lento per 20-30 minuti.
  4. Prima di servire, guarnite con gli spinaci o il prezzemolo.
