Come prevenire la comparsa dell’herpes labiale, un’infezione spesso favorita da una non corretta esposizione al sole? Molti sono i fattori che possono causare questo disturbo, ma un corretto stile di vita, fatto di sane abitudini e di prevenzione, è sicuramente un buon punto di partenza per ridurre al minimo il rischio di essere colpiti da un virus che è molto più frequente di quanto si tende comunemente a pensare. L’herpes labiale è un’infezione causata dall’herpes simplex tipo1 (HSV–1): generalmente il contagio avviene attraverso individui infetti o, ma in rari casi, per trasmissione dalla madre al momento della nascita. Tuttavia anche il sole è uno dei fattori che favoriscono l’insorgere di questo problema. E allora come comportarsi per prevenire l’herpes?

La parola d’ordine è attenzione. Quando ci si espone al sole ma anche se si decide di prendere un po’ di colore grazie all’aiuto delle lampade abbronzanti, i cui raggi ultravioletti sono molto pericolosi se prima non ci si è doverosamente protetti con un prodotto di qualità in grado di salvaguardare la salute di pelle e labbra. Per raggiungere questo obiettivo, è necessario scegliere prodotti specifici pensati per proteggere le labbra.

Per preparare la pelle al sole e prevenire l’herpes labiale favorito dai raggi solari, si possono infatti sfruttare le caratteristiche di alcuni prodotti appositamente studiati. L’herpes, oltre che molto dolorosa, è anche piuttosto antiestetica (e per questo motivo crea sempre disagio e imbarazzo in coloro che ne vengono colpiti): prevenirla insomma è doveroso, laddove è possibile. Il sole è uno dei principali fattori scatenanti delle recidive da herpes labiale e per questo motivo proteggersi dai suoi effetti dannosi risulta essere determinante.

L’herpes si cura anche a tavola, seguendo un’alimentazione sana ed equilibrata (non esistono alimenti miracolosi in grado di far sparire le antiestetiche bollicine, ma si può giocare d’anticipo, migliorando le difese immunitarie): consumare quotidianamente frutta e verdura fresche di stagione, prediligendo quelle ricche di vitamina C; assumere pesce, cereali e legumi, ricchi di zinco; introdurre nella dieta la frutta secca ed evitare cibi ricchi di zuccheri e di grassi.
