Combattere la cellulite è molto complicato. Spesso non c’è sport, trattamento o dieta che tenga. Il ristagno di liquidi in molti casi ha una predisposizione genetica: ci sono, infatti, donne formose senza un buchino sulle gambe e ragazze magrissime piene di buccia d’arancia. Gli oli essenziali possono essere un metodo naturale per migliorare la circolazione.

La premessa è sempre la stessa: non pensiate che questi prodotti facciano miracoli, ma se utilizzati nel modo opportuno e inseriti all’interno di uno stile di vita sano ed equilibrato possono dare ottimi risultati. Potreste tra l’altro usarli come terapia preventiva. Quali sono gli oli più adatti a questo trattamento?

Potete scegliere tra i seguenti: ginepro, lavanda, rosmarino, che agisce sul tessuto adiposo, cipresso, salvia, limone, arancia e pompelmo (questi ultimi agli agrumi sono ricchi di vitamina C).  Queste sostanze sono tutte rinfrescanti (a parte la salvia) e tonificanti. Stimolano il metabolismo e aiutano l’eliminazione delle tossine.

Come si utilizzano? Gli oli essenziali non si applicano mai direttamente sulla pelle, ma vanno aggiunti ad altri cosmetici. Il metodo più tradizionale, soprattutto se desiderate rilassarsi, è diluire qualche goccia nell’acqua del bagno o magari metterla direttamente su una bella spugna naturale. Il profumo vi darà una sensazione piacevole e l’olio agirà sulla circolazione.

Per avere un effetto decisamente più efficace, invece, si consiglia di inserire l’olio direttamente in una crema o in un olio cosmetico (tipo quello di mandorle o quello d’oliva). In questo modo potrete trattare la zona desiderata: il massaggio deve essere abbastanza energico (non carezze per capirci) e deve sempre stimolare la circolazione linfatica, quindi partire dal basso per risalire verso l’alto. 

In linea di massima, non si usa mai un olio essenziale da solo, ma in combinazione con almeno altri due oli. Nel nostro elenco di essenze anticellulite non abbiamo nominato il geranio, che non è indicato nello specifico per la buccia d’arancia, ma per rassodare la pelle.
