Fare sport anche dopo aver partorito è una sana e bella abitudine, soprattutto per chi già, prima del parto, praticava qualche sport. Lo sport ci fa perdere quei chiletti accumulati durante la gravidanza, ci fa sentire più attive e belle da subito; tuttavia per sapere quando riprendere l’attività sportiva dopo un parto è sempre meglio consultare il proprio medico. La prima cosa da evidenziare è il tipo di parto: con il parto naurale la neo mamma potrà riprendere le sue normali attività sportive quasi da subito (l’attesa varierà da un minimo di 2 settimane ad un massimo di 4 o 6 settimane), diversamente invece se ha fatto un parto cesareo. Certo, se la neo mamma ha un passato da praticante (3-4 volte a settimana), potrà ricominciare prima di chi svolgeva attività fisica solo saltuariamente.

- Kegels : si può fare da subito sia dopo un parto nautare che cesareo
- Camminare: come sopra
- Yoga: aspettare 2 settimane se avete affrontato un parto naturale, da 4 a 6 settimane dopo un cesareo!
- Addominali: 2 settimane dopo un parto naturale, 6 dopo un parto cesareo
- Sollevamento Pesi: 2 settimane dopo un parto naturale, 6 settimane dopo un parto cesareo.
- Corsa: 3/4 settimane dopo un parto naturale, 6 settimane dopo un parto cesareo
- Bicicletta: 10/12 settimane dopo un parto naturale, 10/ 12 sett dopo un parto cesareo
- Kickboxing: 10 12 settimane dopo un parto naturale, lo stesso dopo un cesareo
- Aerobica: 6 settimane dopo un parto naturale, 8/12 settimane dopo un cesareo
- Corsa agonistica: 12/ 16 settimane dopo un parto naturale: 6 /16 settimane dopo un cesareo
