Per quest’anno le vacanze estive sono finite; se è vero che molti devono ancora andare in ferie, la maggioranza degli italiani è appena rientrata a lavoro. Inutile ricordare quanto sia traumatico il rientro: per quanto possiamo essere preparati, passare dal costume al tailleur e dalla spiaggia all’ufficio, comporta un bel po’ di tensione. Anche in questo caso, però l’alimentazione gioca un ruolo fondamentale per superare lo stress da rientro.
La frutta e la verdura sono ai primi posti dei cibi adatti a superare lo stress da rientro; in particolare si rivela molto utile l’uva rossa in quanto contiene diverse sostanze benefiche, come ad esempio la melatonina, indispensabile per regolare il ritmo sonno-veglia, ma anche come la vitamina B6, ideale per combattere il nervosismo, e le vitamine A e C che possiedono un’ottima azione antiossidante.
Lo stress da rientro si manifesta in soprattutto sotto forma di nervosismo e tristezza: proprio per questo, quindi, gli esperti consigliano di mangiare la frutta, le cui proprietà calmanti sono molto note. In realtà sono gli zuccheri semplici, largamente presenti nella frutta, i responsabili di questo effetti: essi, infatti, stimolano la produzione di serotonina, il cosiddetto “ormone del buonumore”, una sostanza in grado di stimolare il rilassamento.
Oltre all’uva rossa sono ideali le pesche, in grado di stimolare le funzioni dei reni, e le mele, indicate soprattutto se il cambio di abitudini vi ha provocato dei disturbi intestinali.
Inoltre, gli esperti consigliano di introdurre nella dieta per combattere lo stress da rientro anche la verdura di stagione, come le zucchine, ricche di vitamina A e utili per proteggere, pelle, ossa e mucose, e come i peperoni, che contengono moltissima vitamina C e sali minerali.
Non fatevi mancare neanche i carboidrati, sia quelli semplici, contenuti in miele e confetture, che quelli complessi, che si trovano nel pane, nella pasta, nei cereali e nel riso, ovviamente senza esagerare con le porzioni.
