La dieta alcalina si basa sul principio secondo cui l’organismo funziona meglio in un ambiente alcalino mentre l’alimentazione comune, con prodotti di origine animale e carboidrati spesso trasformati, crea un effetto acidificante. Quali sono i cibi permessi nella dieta alcalina? Li scopriamo insieme a quelli da evitare.
Secondo la dieta alcalina va consumato ogni giorno il 70-80% di alimenti alcalini e solo il 20-30% di alimenti acidi. Così si torna ad un sistema alimentare più simile a quello dei nostri antenati che si nutrivano soprattutto di frutta, verdura, semi e noci e non conoscevano i carboidrati raffinati di cui è spesso piena la nostra dieta attuale.
Cibi alcalinizzanti da preferire
I cibi alcalini da favorire sono frutta fresca, verdura, frutta secca come le mandorle, miglio, legumi sia freschi che surgelati, particolarmente i fagioli, e ancora patate e miele. In particolare sono da preferire tra le verdure: carote, sedano, biete, spinaci, broccoli, cavolfiore e zucca. Tra la frutta: mela, pera, arance (anche in succo), banane, fragole, ciliegie, mango, pompelmo, ananas, melone, datteri, avocado e uva.
Cibi acidificanti da ridurre
Sono da ridurre pesce, carne, soia e derivati, noci. È meglio scegliere fonti proteiche di origine vegetale anziché animale, riducendo comunque la frequenza d’uso di questi cibi al 30% massimo della quota di cibi acidificanti concessi nella dieta alcalina. Tra il pesce è meglio scegliere spigola, salmone, tonno o trota.
Cibi acidificanti da evitare
Pane e prodotti da forno, zucchero e dolci, bevande zuccherate, latticini e cerali raffinati. Questi ultimi vanno sostituiti con cereali integrali ma in piccole quantità. Fa eccezione il miglio che si può consumare a piacere.
